so- back from the little island and it was magnificent. getting back online, watching the Olympics, unpacking and milling around the house wishing I still had an ocean view and mode of transportation was a golf cart. Alas, I watched the sun set over my pool [insert Debbie-Downer "wah-wah" sound] ...not *quite* the same, to say the least.
Until I download the pictures from my camera and edit (as I took WAY too many, shocker!), this will have to do. We were in the Caribbean on Isla Mujeres and stayed at Casa Ixchel. Ixchel was the name of the moon goddess that the island was named after or something.
And speaking of moon goddesses... does anyone remember that line from "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" Seriously. Great summertime movie.
bottom line: home. relaxed. more to come.
