en-why-see, happy b-day to me

Had a brilliant time in The City: Saw wonderful friends, took fantastic pictures, celebrated all kinds of things, laughed a lot... and it is as if The City was celebrating, too because the weather was off-the-charts gorgeous.

As previously noted: our other computer crashed. Mr. Price is now using my computer with all my camera software on it and given that he is on the computer approximately, um, all waking hours... doesn't give a big window of opportunity for me to download pics from camera to upload. Pics pending.

In spite of the fact that I was travelling on my actual bday: it was a magnificent birthday. Started the day off with brunch in the West Village at Tartines with Jess & fiance Michael (who was precious and brought us gerber daisies). Had a wonderfully uneventful travel back AND won the airplane lotto (window seat with no one next to me in the middle seat). Land and receive a whole load of texts and bday messages. YAY!! Then Precious Mr. Price meets me at the airport with a fancy shmancy new flash for my camera (I hadn't asked for anything so I was pleasantly surprised to but it mildly - more like ecstatically shocked...) followed by a Divine dinner at Mandola's and cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery that made it all the way home. THEN a knock on the door and Erin & Jim had Tiff's Treat's delivered (for those not on team Austin, it is a freshly baked cookie & brownie delivery service) so... FRESH from the oven snicker doodles, choc chip cookies, brownies, AND cute little milk cartons (got to reinforce those strong bones!).

Can't think of how it could have been better.

Yawn- sorry for the dull post, but it sure was fun for me to re-live for my own self. And it's as if I had a whole side-dialog-thing going on with the extra-large order of parentheses, huh?

Pics pending......
