Almost back-up and running

I've been completely sans phone for two days now. So THIS is what an upgrade is....

Thankfully, my trusty calico sidekick is steadfastly overseeing the process. The last back-up took over 12 hours (from 11 until past when I went to sleep last night) because the prior attempt to back-up my old phone errored-out just before completion. Nice. And for my birthday, I spent two hours with the ah-hem, Genius, at the apple store to no avail. Actually, the fellow was quite nice and acknowledged the fact that I'd likely rather not spend a chunk of my birthday day with him.

Hopefully we are nearing the end of a process that began on Monday night. Which is good since it's THURSDAY, and i'd really like to use my phone again.
