Chinese Firedrill

Literally. I'm staying in the hotel today, and of course this is the day that they would test the fire alarm system during the afternoon.

However.... and this is brilliant... While the sirens are going off, they are blasting the speaker system with some sort of Chinese-teeny-bopper-pop-tart-type music that repeats every 30 seconds or so, in order to drown out the sirens.

Awesome.


Good thing I got a full three hours of sleep last night!
